Welcome to the English homepage for Kalundborg Chess Club

Kalundborg Chess Club is an active chess club covering all chess interested people north-west Zealand. We meet for club evenings every Wednesday where we start with social chess before playing club tournaments. We have members of all ages, from 8 years to +80 years, and from beginners to experienced club players.

Kalundborg Chess Club play team chess against other clubs on Zealand, where all club member get the chance to play against players from other clubs. We organise two yearly ELO rated tournaments, where all chess players are welcome, and we likewise organise two annual junior tournaments for all players up to 20 years. 

Chess season:

All year except in July and days around Christmas / New Year

Club meeting day: Wednesdays

Chess program:

18:00 - 19:00: Chess training and social chess

From 19:00: Club evening
